Scarlett Bordeaux's WWE journey began with intrigue, her role as Karrion Kross's valet adding a captivating dynamic. While her wrestling stints within WWE have been sparse, her initial exposure in 2016 against Nia Jax being a squash match wasn't the best start. Officially signed in 2019, Scarlett's wrestling potential remained largely untapped. Primarily confined to managerial duties, Scarlett's in-ring appearances included a 2021 dark match against Shotzi Blackheart, unseen on TV. After a brief release in 2021, she returned, participating in mixed tag team matches with Karrion against Madcap Moss and Emma as well as The OC. Yet, her TV exposure failed to showcase her wrestling prowess. Beyond WWE, Scarlett's diverse experience in promotions like TNA, AAW, and MLW highlights her versatility in various match types.

Why Scarlett Didn't Wrestle In WWE

An Injury Kept Scarlett Out Of The Wrestling Ring

Scarlett Bordeaux's aspirations for an active in-ring career hit an unexpected roadblock in 2021. During a dark match, she faced a challenging and unfortunate situation when one of her breast implants burst, as she told Renee Paquette on her Sessions podcast. She said:

"I wasn't medically cleared yet. I was having matches before Raw and SmackDown because they wanted me to wrestle. After the second match, everything was going great, I get home and look in the mirror, and I'm like, 'One of these doesn't look like the other.' [referencing her breasts]. The next day was NXT and I immediately go to medical and I'm like, 'Hey, I'm not sure if I'm going crazy or if they always looked like this. Maybe I'm just tired.' With the adrenaline from wrestling, you don't notice certain things hurt all the time, so I didn't think anything of it. I went to medical and they were like, 'Yes, one of your b**bs is totally gone.' I was like, 'I can get the surgery and can manage and be ringside, that's no problem, I just can't wrestle right away.' The plan was, I guess for me to wrestle so they were like, 'When you're totally clear, you're gonna wrestle.' They scrapped all the managing stuff at that point, and I was sitting at home for those last four months just waiting.”

While Karrion Kross has faced challenges finding sustained success in WWE, The Final Testament presents a chance for redemption and resurgence. Scarlett, in her managerial role, has been the silent force behind Kross, orchestrating the mystique surrounding the faction. However, the missing piece to fully harness the group's potential lies in Scarlett stepping into the ring. Her dark, mysterious character is unlike anything currently present in the women's division and her alluring appearance combined with her character could lead to magic.

Scarlett Bordeaux's wrestling abilities have been showcased in promotions outside of WWE, proving her adaptability to various match types. While some may question Scarlett's athleticism, her past matches indicate a capacity to deliver compelling performances. Given the right opportunities, Scarlett can evolve and refine her in-ring skills, gradually becoming a formidable force in the women's division. The prospect of her as the wicked dark champion injects a much-needed sense of unpredictability into the women's title scene. The potential for Scarlett Bordeaux within The Final Testament transcends the immediate storyline. It opens the door to a broader narrative arc where she navigates the complexities of being both a manipulative strategist and an in-ring competitor.
