Bound For Glory is Impact Wrestling's biggest show of the year. Since 2005, the promotion formerly known as TNA, has put on their annual big pay per view. Bound For Glory is Impact's equivalent to WrestleMania. With that said, it's no surprise that Bound For Glory holds the biggest matches and moments.

While there are plenty of matches on each Bound For Glory card, eyes naturally go to the main event. Usually a world title match, the main event of Bound For Glory can make or break the event. Fortunately, there are plenty of quality Bound For Glory main events.

10 Jeff Jarrett Vs. Sting (Bound For Glory 2006)

The first of Sting's several Bound For Glory main events saw him take on NWA Heavyweight ChampionJeff Jarrett. They pulled out all the stops for this main event match but unfortunately, too much focus was on Kurt Angle.

Angle wasn't a competitor in the match but he was heavily involved as a guest enforcer and eventually the referee of the bout. Despite the distracting involvement, Jarrett and Sting put on a good match. There were a lot of good counters and an exciting ending that saw Sting no sell a guitar shot and submit Jarrett.

9 Lashley Vs. EC3 (Bound For Glory 2016)

Lashley and EC3 met in a brutal encounter in the main event of the 2016 edition of Bound For Glory. From before the bell, they brought the intensity as Lashley speared EC3 during the ring announcement. What followed was a back and forth no holds barred match that saw both men trying hard to put on an epic main event.

While not the best Bound For Glory main event, they brought the intensity that a world title match should have. It was a captivating watch as they brutalized each other.

8 Kurt Angle Vs. Sting (Bound For Glory 2007)

Sting was once again fighting for a world title in the main event of Bound For Glory in 2007. This time he was taking on Kurt Angle. Despite an abundance of interference and ref bumps, these two legends worked well together.

They had a hotly contested match that saw Sting overcome the odds. Sting took out the interfering Kevin Nash and leveled Angle with his baseball bat and Scorpion Death Drop to walk out of Bound For Glory with the world title once again.

7 EC3 Vs. Drew Galloway Vs. Matt Hardy (Bound For Glory 2015)

With Jeff Hardy as the special guest referee, EC3, Drew Galloway, and Matt Hardy fought for the world title in this Bound For Glory main event. This was a great main event for the moment more than the match. Matt Hardy was able to win the TNA World Championship and celebrate with his family.

This great moment came after EC3 tried to get the match thrown out. Special referee Jeff Hardy told him to fight like a man and then leveled him with a chair and a Twist of Fate after being slapped. Galloway finished EC3 with a Claymore just to eat a Twist of Fate from Matt for the world championship victory.

6 Bully Ray Vs. AJ Styles (Bound For Glory 2013)

In 2013, Bully Ray was in the midst of the best singles run of his career as the leader of Aces & Eights and the TNA World Champion. Who better to put an end to Bully's reign of terror than TNA's best talent AJ Styles?

This was a no disqualification brawl for the world title. While there was a bit too much interference to make it an all-time great match, it was a lot of fun. AJ and Bully beat the hell out of each other. Seeing AJ win the title with the Spiral Tap was really cool too.

5 Jeff Hardy Vs. Kurt Angle Vs. Mr. Anderson (Bound For Glory 2010)

Leading into 2010's Bound For Glory, the TNA World Championship was vacant. The Bound For Glory Series boiled down to Anderson on one side and Hardy and Angle on the other. Hardy and Angle hadn't been able to put each other away and had wrestled to draws.

The main event of 2010's Bound For Glory saw a fantastic triple threat match. The action was exciting and the story of the match was Hardy turning heel to win the title and join Immortal.

4 AJ Styles Vs. Sting (Bound For Glory 2009)

Sting had been in the main event of Bound For Glory every year between 2006 and 2009. This time, thankfully, he would lose. Sting's challenge for AJ Styles' world title led to a great match.

The pair wrestled a smart match with good ring psychology and storytelling. A few execution flaws prevent this from being a classic but it was a great match nonetheless. AJ was the right man to break Sting's Bound For Glory main event streak.

3 Brian Cage Vs. Sami Callihan (Bound For Glory 2019)

The Machine Brian Cage had a hell of a challenge when he defended the Impact World Championship against Sami Callihan in the main event of Bound For Glory. Callihan and Cage brutalized each other in this no disqualification match.

In front of a hot crowd, these two men gave it their all to make a brutal, compelling main event backed by a personal feud. This was a hell of a match. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a win for Callihan.

2 Austin Aries Vs. Johnny IMPACT (Bound For Glory 2018)

Austin Aries was one of the best wrestlers in Impact in 2018 and Johnny IMPACT was out to prove he was in the same category. The two rivals clashed in the 2018 main event of Bound For Glory for the Impact World Championship.

Aries and IMPACT put on a great match. IMPACT's innovative, parkour-inspired offense is always a delight to watch. This was an epic encounter that saw the crowning of a new champion. Aries no selling the finish of the match is a negative but not enough to drag down the great match.

1 Jeff Hardy Vs. Austin Aries (Bound For Glory 2012)

Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries had an amazing TNA World Championship match in the main event of Bound For Glory in 2012. Hardy was seeking redemption after the Victory Road incident the previous year.

Aries was one of the best wrestlers in the world at the time and Hardy was wrestling as the best version of himself. A great match led to an amazing moment as Hardy won the world title and completed his redemption story.
