A History Of Slammys

The Slammy Awards were first introduced by WWE in 1986 and have since become a fun tradition in the wrestling world. Look no further than Owen Hart, a wrestler who has become synonymous with The Slammy Awards because of his infamous 1997 wins. And who can forget Shawn Michaels winning the Slammy for "Match of the Year" in 2009 for his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25, and then challenging The Deadman to a rematch for WrestleMania 26 during his acceptance speech?

While there may not be much storyline or character development for this year's Slammy Awards, fans are still excited to see what WWE has in store for them!
