Korey Reveals If He Still Talks With Olivia & Cashay

Love Island USA season 3 winner Korey Gandy has taken to social media to update fans on whether or not he's still friends with ex-girlfriend Olivia Kaiser and best friend Cashay Proudfoot. Fans were introduced to Korey and Olivia on Love Island USA season 3 episode 1. Olivia initially coupled up with Javonny Vega, who seemed really interested in her. However, Olivia just didn't feel the same way about him, despite the fact that they remained coupled up for weeks.

In the meantime, Korey jumped from one coupling to the next over the course of Love Island. Korey found plenty of friendships and situationships, but it wasn't until the end of the season that he and Olivia actually settled in an actual romantic relationship and stayed together until the very end. When frontrunners Shannon St Clair and Josh Goldstein left the show for personal reasons, Olivia and Korey became the new couple to beat. Out of the four finalist couples, the public voted for Korey and Olivia to win Love Island USA. Alas, Korey and Olivia have since broken up.

Despite how long it's been since Korey and Olivia's breakup, it seems like Love Island fans are still very curious about their current relationship status. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Korey was asked several questions pertaining to Olivia. As seen in the screenshots below, Korey was first asked if he and Olivia still talk. "It's actually been a long time since we talked," he explained. A follower then asked if there's any chance he and Olivia can get back together. Korey slightly rolled his eyes at this question and said, "No. Probably not, to be honest. In the villa, it was dope. The afterwards, a lot of things happened." Yet another fan asked Korey to share his side of the breakup with Olivia. After scratching his head a bit, Korey recalled that he did share his side of the story. Indeed, Korey shared a lengthy Instagram post in November 2021 going through all the reasons why they had broken up.

Korey was then asked about his BFF on Love Island USA, Cash. He called Cashay "his girl" and confirmed that they are still close, yet Korey couldn't recall when was the last time they had spoken. Since Korey made himself clear about not getting back with Olivia, a fan asked if they were at least friends. "I have not talked to this girl in forever. But if I saw her out somewhere, I'd say, 'What's up?' of course. You know, I don't hate her. It's hard for me to have hate for anyone. But we just both went our separate ways." A follower then asked about a rumored cast list for The Challenge that featured both Korey and Olivia in the season. Korey slammed the cast list and called it fake, showing that he was very much in his home right now - not packing up or traveling to film any new TV show.

Overall, Korey is an incredibly patient reality TV star who took a lot of time out of his week to answer dozens of questions about his relationship status and breakup with Olivia. While it seems like they'd be shoo-ins for a show like Ex On the Beach, it feels like Korey isn't interested in doing dating shows any longer. For now, fans of Love Island USA will have to keep up with Korey on social media.
