It might not have Roman Reigns, it might not have Cody Rhodes, and yes, it was moved to a smaller venue due to lack of ticket sales. That doesn't mean Money in the Bank isn't one of WWE's biggest shows of the year, though. Plus, WWE usually pulls a big show out of the bag when you least expect it. With two contract winners to be determined, a number of championships on the line, even if The Tribal Cheif's isn't one of them, this was still going to be a big show for a number of reasons. It's also the first show in a run of three that will mark a very big summer for WWE. Strap in, as we're about to rundown all of the winners and losers from 2022's Money in the Bank.

Winner: Liv Morgan Is Miss Money In The Bank

Money in the Bank kicked off with the women's ladder match after which the premium live event is named. Seven Superstars, all of which could have feasibly won this one and almost guaranteed themselves a title reign in the future. Some Superstars were more popular picks than others though, and Liv Morgan almost definitely topped the pile. Morgan perfectly executed a very tricky final sequence with Becky Lynch which just made this win even sweeter. After how long Morgan fans have been made to wait, a simple climb up the ladder would have sufficed. The match itself was also pretty great, and while Morgan should be the proudest of all, everyone involved in this match should be happy with the effort they put in this evening.

Winner: Bobby Lashley Shuts Up Theory

Bobby Lashley versus Theory had the makings of a filler match, especially after the terrific bout that opened the show. The two Superstars quickly went about proving it was anything but. This match was pretty great, with both men pulling off impressive and interesting feats which made this match both gripping and entertaining. The unexpected twist at the end was the cherry on the cake. Very few would have expected Lashley to win this one, so Theory tapping to The Hurt Lock and losing the US Title was a welcome surprise.

Loser: Bianca Belair Retains

Bianca Belair beating Carmella and continuing her run as Raw Women's Champion is very much a winning moment. This match happening on one of the biggest shows of the year though, not so much. Coming off the back of two great matches also didn't help, but the biggest thing going against this bout was what it was meant to be had it not been for Rhea Ripley's injury. Belair and Ripley feel like they're about to go on a long and special journey together, and that journey was supposed to begin tonight. Carmella was never going to be a big enough replacement for The Nightmare.

Winner: Usos And Street Profits Put On A Clinic

Never forget that even on a card with two multi-person ladder matches, if The Usos are competing, they might well steal the show. For a lot of fans, that happened at Money in the Bank. Jimmy and Jey were only half responsible, of course. Their opponents The Street Profits were also fantastic in this one, even if they didn't quite have it in their tanks to end The Usos' reign as Unidsputed Tag Team Champions. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have a claim to a rematch, though. Ford's shoulder was off the mat when the ref counted three, so expect to see this match again very soon. Possibly SummerSlam, but potentially even sooner.

Winner: Liv Morgan Cashes In On Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey and Natalya's rivalry has been a fierce one, and the match at the end of it did not disappoint. In fact, it was so good, it probably would have been a winner on this list even without what came next. Its placement on the more favoured side of the list was solidified when Morgan's music hit right after the match came to an end. Unable to wait 12 months, less than two hours after she won the contract, Morgan sprinted to the ring and cashed in. After a brief moment of jeopardy where it looked like Rousey might ruin her night, Morgan recovered and beat The Rowdy One to become SmackDown Women's Champion.

Loser: Theory Is Mr. Money In The Bank

Nothing ruins a match where you're not sure who is going to win quite like someone you definitely don't want to win being added for no reason right before the bell rings. That's what happened in the main event as Adam Pearce made Theory the eighth man in the men's ladder match. It didn't really matter how good the actual match was going to be after that, as that forecast to everyone watching that Theory would win. That's exactly what happened. There were some cool moments throughout, perhaps most notably Drew McIntyre bench pressing a ladder with Sheamus still on it. We should have seen this coming when Theory lost earlier in the night. Oh well, this was Morgan's night anyway.
