The Flock's Canvas Talisman is an accessory in Elden Ring that significantly raises the potency of Incantations. However, keep in mind that this effect only applies to damage-inflicting Spells and not healing or buff-related Erdtree Incantations. Tarnished can stack the Flock's Canvas Talisman with other Talismans, such as the Scorpion Charm variants. Furthermore, the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear can be paired with this Talisman in Elden Ring.
To get the Flock's Canvas Talisman in Elden Ring, Tarnished must slay Gowry, the sole resident of Gowry's Shack in Caelid. The shack is located on the roadside south of Sellia, Town of Sorcery. However, before players can kill Gowry, they must fulfill the monumental task of completing Millicent's entire questline. Millicent, the presumed daughter of Gowry, has a storyline that spans multiple regions in the Lands Between. As a result, Tarnished will need to unlock late-game areas of the world before they can acquire the Flock's Canvas Talisman.
First, Tarnished must obtain the Unalloyed Gold Needle from Commander O'Neal in Caelid's Aeonia Swamp. Afterward, they must visit Gowry in his shack and Millicent at the Church of the Plague. After speaking to both of them and reloading the area several times, Millicent will relocate to the Erdtree-Gazing Hill in Altus Plateau.
Unlocking The Flock's Canvas Talisman In Elden Ring
Next, Tarnished adventurers must retrieve Valkyrie's Prosthesis from the northwestern tower of the Shaded Castle. After giving Millicent the prosthetic arm, she will relocate near the Windmill Heights Site of Grace once the local Godskin Apostle has been defeated. To further progress her questline, Elden Ring fans must make their way to Mountaintops of the Giants, the region that becomes available once Morgott the Omen King has been slain. Adventurers will encounter Millicent for the fifth time at the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Grace Site, below the Stargazer Ruins.
Tarnished must now make their way to Miquella's Haligtree, an area that becomes accessible via the Haligtree Secret Medallion. However, those looking to skip this step can enter the Consecrated Snowfield by leaping towards the region's Minor Erdtree from the cliffs north of the Shack of the Lofty. After getting through Ordina, players will find Millicent in Elphael's Prayer Room. Finally, to complete her questline, Tarnished must defeat an Ulcerated Tree Spirit near the Drainage Channel Site of Grace. They must also aid or slay Millicent in battle against her four sisters within the same area. Once these steps are done, retrieve the Unalloyed Gold Needle from Millicent's remains and return to Gowry's Shack in Caelid.
