When Braun Strowman first joined WWE in 2015, many fans pegged him as "just another big man" who would fizzle out quickly. Combine that with when he was made into an unstoppable singles star monster in 2016, and fans were quick to assume that he would not amount to anything. Now, Strowman is considered one of WWE's most popular wrestlers who has risen to a level of stardom that no one thought possible. As a multiple-time champion - including a run as Universal Champion - Strowman is achieving things beyond initial expectations.

His feuds have featured him performing amazing feats of strength and defeating opponents to further himself up the tiers of WWE. However, not all of his rivalries have been the best for the Monster Among Men's career. In fact, some of them have hurt him more than helped him. The question is - which ones have been the ones that have been best for him?
10 Greatest - Roman Reigns
Whether they were feuding as members of The Shield or The Wyatt Family, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman have had multiple collisions, and each of them have been great encounters. Roman Reigns was instrumental in building Strowman up as a top contender for the main event level and helped make him viewed as an unstoppable monster.
Thinking of Strowman beating up Reigns throughout the RAW arena and yelling "I'm not finished with you" before tipping over an ambulance with him inside of it filled fans with fond memories. Without his multiple matches with Reigns, Strowman would not be viewed as strongly as he is today.
9 Worst - Bray Wyatt / The Fiend
Bray Wyatt has proven that he has the ability to be one of WWE's greatest characters, but unfortunately, he has never been able to click inside of the ring with his former "Black Sheep" of the Wyatt family. Through multiple matches against both Wyatt and The Fiend, it has never been a good showing for either man.

It is not clear as to why either man has not been capable of making their matches enjoyable to watch. Considering that their most recent Swamp Fight was not well received by fans, it may be one of the last times they are in the ring together.
8 Greatest - Kevin Owens
When Strowman is positioned as an unstoppable monster who is looking to dismantle his opponent both physically and psychologically, he is at his best. Strowman took a lot of pleasure in stalking Kevin Owens during their feud, leading to many hilarious and exhilarating moments leading up to their matches.
Finally coming to blows at both Money in the Bank and in a Steel Cage match, their feud included many big bumps from the Monster Among Men to the Prize Fighter.
7 Worst - Tyson Fury
It is not uncommon for athletes outside of WWE to wind up in the squared circle for cross-promotional activities. Athletes like Lawrence Taylor and Floyd Mayweather have stepped in the ring before, and have seen success both critically and professionally as a result. However, WWE's most recent athlete is former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Tyson Fury.
While a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world, Fury failed to impress during his first match in WWE against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel. Despite being a physically imposing opponent for Strowman, the match itself failed to leave people wanting more of their feud.
6 Greatest - Seth Rollins
Braun Strowman was, like almost everyone else in wrestling, able to have good matches against Seth Rollins. While on his relentless pursuit for the Universal Championship, Strowman had his sights set on Seth Rollins.

Their feud included them winning the RAW Tag Team Championships as an "odd couple" before facing each other for the singles championship. Despite not winning the Universal Title, Strowman solidified himself as a main event caliber wrestler coming out of this feud.
5 Worst - Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar's legacy of bringing legitimacy back to WWE through his hard-hitting style has helped solidify him as a big draw for the company. Unfortunately, while his smash-mouth style in the ring is exciting, he has wound up harming more careers than he has made them because of the amount of time he spends away from the ring.
Feuding with someone who is not present is difficult, and Strowman encountered that while feuding with Lesnar for his Universal Championship. If Strowman had come out on top of Lesnar, this feud could have been very beneficial for the big man, but he was left without anyone to battle once Lesnar left again.
4 Greatest - Bobby Lashley
Since returning to WWE in 2018, Lashley has struggled to find a solid footing to position himself as a main event star. However, he did shine as Strowman's first feud for his newly won Universal Championship.

Lashley appeared to be a legitimate threat for Strowman's new championship and had never looked better in the ring. Defeating Lashley made Strowman look like a legitimate champion, and it also gave Lashley enough credibility to move forward as a future contender for the title.
3 Worst - Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin has a heel is doing everything right since fans despise him and want to see him get beat up. Unfortunately, his in-ring exploits are not among the greatest that WWE has ever seen, and is where he struggles the most as a performer.
Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin actually have similar levels of experience in the ring, and despite performing at the top-tier for a long time, both seemed lost together in the ring and were never able to gain enough traction to make fans enjoy what they were doing. The further these two stay away from each other, the better.
2 Greatest - ECW Originals
The Wyatt Family was one of WWE"s most entertaining acts, and Strowman got to be a part of it while he learned the ropes of the wrestling business. Combine that with the fact that he got to work with long-time legends from Extreme Championship Wrestling in The Dudleys and Tommy Dreamer, and he got a first-class education for one of his first feuds.
In multiple matches, Strowman got to compete in Extreme Rules contests against the extreme superstars, and it truly helped equip himself for his success later in his career.
1 Worst - Sami Zayn
People often forget how good Sami Zayn is in the ring due to the cowardly character he sometimes portrays in the ring, but he is truly one of the best wrestlers in the business. Unfortunately, his early feud with Braun Strowman was not very helpful for either of them.
While being booked as an unbeatable monster - which fans were starting to get behind - Strowman faced Zayn in a match where he had only ten minutes to defeat his opponent, which he was unable to do. Considering that he eventually defeated Zayn during their next encounter, this match was not helpful for either of them.
