WWE Champion AJ Styles is set to defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34 this Sunday, and the hype of the match is through the roof - and rightfully so.

Both Styles and Nakamura are two of the greatest in-ring performers of all time, and each superstar traveled around the globe to compete in multiple promotions - including New Japan Pro Wrestling.

However, there was a bit of a scare last month, when Styles was pulled from a tag team match (with Nakamura), against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at a live show in Madison Square Garden. The two friends then attacked Styles, who had to leave the match. An official threw up the "X" sign, which signals there's a legitimate injury to a superstar.

As it turned out, Styles was legitimately injured, and WWE had Owens and Zayn "attack" him in storyline so he could nurse his bumps and bruises. Styles also missed an episode of SmackDown Live, but has since returned and looks good to go.

Styles did an interview with with Matt Fowler of IGN and once again assured fans that he's fine and will be good for WrestleMania 34.

"I would say that I'm not injured. Injuries are stuff that you can't work through. Everybody works through pain, and I can definitely do that," he said. "I'm going to be at the top of my game when it comes to WrestleMania. I've been doing live events and what not and it's not one of those things that's hindering me whatsoever. So I'm good to go."

Judging by his performances over the past couple of weeks on SmackDown, Styles definitely looks more than healthy and prepared to have what could be the match of his life against Nakamura. There was a major scare there back in March, but WWE played it safe and ensured he recovered in time.

Now, fans can sit back and relax as they anxiously await Styles vs. Nakamura on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
