AEW has put together a lot of factions throughout its short history as a company, some of which have made a major impact on the business and will be memorable for a long time. While the likes of The Inner Circle and The Elite are groups that people will always talk about, others barely made an impact.

These factions are ones that people have already forgotten about due to fans not liking the group, or because of the creative decisions that were made around them, so they simply didn't end up becoming memorable in the long term.
10 The Factory
A spin-off group from Cody Rhodes' Nightmare Factory wasn't something that anybody needed or wanted, but AEW ended up creating it anyway. It's something that lacked real star power, because while QT Marshall can bring in plenty of heat and he is talented inside the ring, he hasn't been positioned as a top star for the company.
The rest of the group were fresh faces on the roster that didn't get many opportunities, with the initial feud against Rhodes being their only memorable moment. However, that storyline is one people often dislike, and that's why the group has since been forgotten.
9 Undisputed Elite
Fans will certainly never forget The Elite, but the Undisputed Elite spinoff didn't quite have the same impact. AEW was trying to tap into the Undisputed era history with Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Bobby Fish coming together, and throwing The Young Bucks into the mix certainly added some star power.

However, the group wasn't able to have a long-lasting impact because of injuries. Issues came at the wrong time for members of the faction, with Fish then leaving AEW which rendered this group completely forgettable.
8 SCU
SCU might've been the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions, but they're a trio that has already been forgotten by fans. SCU's best moments all took place before AEW, and while Tony Khan tried to capitalize on that he ended up breaking them up far too soon.
If they'd have stuck together for longer then their impact would've been more memorable in the long run. However, the fact they broke up and then all three men struggled to do anything meaningful has meant that the group was easily forgotten.
7 Hardy Family Office
The Hardy Family Office was a real mismatch of wrestlers who seemed to have no similar interests or characteristics, which is one of the reasons why the group made no impact during their time together. Matt Hardy was busy buying people's 'contracts' and that is something fans weren't interested in.
The group barely got any opportunities to create real storylines, and a big reason for that was that it always felt far too random. The faction offered nothing to make fans recall them at this point.
6 Andrade Family Office
The original version of this group was forgotten by fans, and the same can be said for the spinoff which saw Andrade take over the group. AEW got far too into the weeds with contract talk with this group to make anybody care, with Andrade buying 51% of the Hardy Family Office to take control of the group.
All it served to do was add more chaos to the situation, providing no clarity or focus as to what they were doing. It was often just backstage segments and random multi-man matches that they were given, with nobody caring in the slightest.
5 Jade Cargill's Baddies
This faction compromised Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Kiera Hogan, and Leila Gray, with Mark Sterling working as Cargill's manager. They got a lot of television time and opportunities due to Cargill being pushed so heavily, but because she was such a star the rest of them became forgettable.

While they hyped her up and did help her with victories, Cargill was always the big star with everything focused on her. Cargill's star power was too much to make this work as a group, which is why people forgot about the faction itself.
4 Mogul Affiliates
Swerve Strickland is currently doing a fantastic job as part of the Mogul Embassy with Prince Nana helping to put together a great group that is certainly going to be memorable when all is said and done. However, Strickland's first faction after turning on Keith Lee was a poor one.
He brought Parker Boudreaux and Trench in alongside him which was always going to make things difficult due to the fact they're both unknown. The group didn't make much impact and the fact it was quickly changed proved that it wasn't working.
3 Varsity Blonds
The Varsity Blonds brought three young stars together all of which had energy and a great look, but the group itself never took off. It was simply done to get them all on television, but they often ended up just being used to put other people over rather than establishing themselves.
The fact that Brian Pillman Jr. has left the company while Griff Garrison has struggled to make any impact doesn't give fans a reason to think about this group. Julia Hart is best associated with House Of Black at this point, which is why this faction has moved on in the minds of fans.
2 Nightmare Collective
The Nightmare Collective was an early faction in AEW, but it was one that simply didn't work. Having Brandi Rhodes lead this group that had a cult-like feel as Awesome Kong attempted to cut people's hair as trophies did have potential, but it would've worked better as a two-person act, as it was first intended.
Instead, AEW kept adding random people into the faction which watered down the group. They lacked any real impact to become memorable overall, and considering that fans wanted it to be over it's no surprise it has become forgotten.
1 The Firm
The Firm was a random group that got put together, initially to help MJF win the Casino Ladder match as he appeared in his devil mask. However, rather than being led by MJF it was Stokely Hathaway who took charge with the idea that they were simply hired hands by MJF, which was a strange way to introduce them.
Hathaway gave mission statements for each member, with all of them having titles in mind. However, the group went on to achieve nothing, with all of the wrestlers moving on to different roles, which is why people don't recall this group outside of their initial moments.
